3rd Grade Term 2 Week 1

The Globe!

We learned about the globe this week by creating globes using clay. Each student created a sphere and marked the equator, Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western hemisphere. The students understood that the globe is a sphere. We also discussed how the globe spins around the sun and in an orbit giving us day, night and the seasons.
